Vinyl and Fishnet SkirtDoesn’t matter if you are a cowboy, a leather daddy or a true vixen – whatever your kinky calling is, fetish clothing is a sine-quo-non to practice your burlesque routines from mid century pulp fiction. There's a lot to choose from. There's the Diamond fetish Vinyl Microfiber Strappy Collared Teddy for girls (among many others) and the Male Power Fetish Tormentor (among many more) for men. You just can't go wrong with any of them.

And yes, they come in a wide variety of makes, textures and cuts. You could really spice things up with fetish clothing that says “spice”, I mean stuff that screams seduction.

It’s not only fun to dress up that way, but fetish apparel is a real turn on. Take the Vinyl and Fishnet Skirt with front Zippers for example – that’s definitely going to get you lascivious. Or, buy the Vivace Cupless Teddy – that’s bound to turn you on.

Of course there is more elaborate fetish clothing available, but for some, the simplest (and naughtiest) stuff have the biggest impact in the bedroom.

I did encounter people who still don’t understand the rationale behind that rubber sissy-boy image. For them it’s “love making’ at the end of the day – something very basic, yet elemental to the very existence of humanity. For them, there’s no need for a fetish outfit during play time. Are they right? Let’s find out.

There’s a basic difference between love-making and sex. Although both eventually end up being similar physical acts, there’s a basic difference – the very introduction of the word “love” glorifies sex which is otherwise considered very crude. C’mon, time to wake up! Did you ever see those paintings and sculptures of Greek gods and goddesses? What about the famous Indian sculptures that scream erotica?

The Gods knew that sex was at the core of our very existence. It is an animal instinct for a reason – you can hide, but can’t escape from it. Not to mention, its only humans and dolphins that have sex for pleasure. So, what’s wrong in pepping up something that gives you pleasure and something that connects you to the roots of humanity?

Time for some time travel. Didn’t the Greek use fetish outfits? Was this stuff unheard of before the birth of Christianity? If you take a close look, you’d see that early clothing – though the term “fetish clothing” wasn’t coined then – was designed to reveal private parts by highlighting them rather than the contrary. Beaded neckpieces circumscribed the bosom and thin linen yarn around the breasts resembled today’s vinyl and fishnet bustiers – for what? Even in the Victorian era there were body hugging corsets (still there). The unspoken message behind fetish clothing has always been – let’s have some fun with the doors shut!

Even today, many (if not most) divorce cases across the globe are attributed to below par performance in bed from either the man or his better half. Also, today few women will suffer a partner’s impotence silently. So, one thing’s for sure – “sex” cannot be thrown out the window because it’s not a concept, its reality. To make sex happen, one needs to have the right kind of mindset that is devoid of any kind of stress. That’s exactly what fetish clothing is for. It prepares the ground before play!

So what’s the difference between early clothing and today’s fetish clothing? We just made it better by introducing a variety of textures and cuts that naturally piques curiosity of one spouse for another. They, highlighted private parts by wrapping them up and isolating from the rest of the body – we highlight the rest of the body and expose the private parts to the same effect.

There’s also some scientific advantage of fetish clothing. Did you know that sperm count and quality increases if a man “gets into the mood” before the actual game? In the case of girls, fertility gets a boost when the ambience is right!

Another theory could be formulated here. Ever heard of teasers in advertising language? Teasers are advertising snippets that don’t talk about the complete package on offer, but just throw a bone so the customer longs for more. That helps sell a product. Same goes for fetish clothing. A man needs to prove he’s man enough (remember animal instincts?) and vice versa. Fetish clothing gives you a peek inside the bigger, better package. When you have a feeling of something tantalizingly close, you want to go for it and that when the purpose of the “Male Power Fetish Tormentor” or “Faux Leather Studded Teddy” is served!
